The only way we cannot know grief
Is to never know love
The only way we cannot know sorrow
Is to never know joy

The only way we understand pain
Is to know to blessings of wellness
The only way to prevent sadness
Is to shelter ourselves from happiness

The only way to tolerate sickness
Is to appreciate good health
The only way to not have an accident
Is to never do anything on purpose

The only way to comprehend death
Is to value each other in life
The only way to have a meaningful journey
Is to realize the voyage continues with passage

We grieve, we love, and we sorrow
But are filled with joy
We have pain, enjoy wellness, and endure sadness
But live for happiness

We have sickness, health, and accidents
But are filled with a sense of purpose
We all face death
But we value life

We hope our journey brings us safe passage
But we long for those left behind
We know we will all be united in Heaven
But until then, we must take pleasure here on earth

We have a loving Eternal Father
We have so many we long to see
And with anticipation
We look forward to that great day

This is a beautiful website and tribute to your son Jason's life. I am so sorry for you loss, I too lost a son to suicide in Aug 2005. I know and share the pain your are feeling. My son was also very musical and creative. I hope both of our sons are truly at peace now.

I just wanted you to know that I've enjoyed this website.  Every now and then I log on, read the updates and listen to a song or two.  I feel I know Jason much better now and regret not having known him very well before he passed away.  I hope you and your family are well and that we have a chance to see you sometime in the not-too-distant future.  We really enjoy living in the Washington DC area but miss being closer to our families.

Thank you again for creating and maintaining this tribute to Jason.

This is a beautiful website and a great tribute to Jason. I did not know Jason, but I feel that I now know him a little better.

God truly works in mysterious ways, no one understands why things happen as they do, and depression is such a strong force and takes such a huge hold on the body and mind. God understands that and has taken Jason into his arms. You will see him again and it will be a joyous reunion.

Thanks for letting me peek into Jason's life. He was so talented! God Bless.
